Web Browsers

Statistically these are the most commonly used web browers on PCs and Macs. Internet Explorer v.6 and v.7 account for over 50% of all users and Firefox with 31% is in second place. Internet Explorer is the preferred choice of most PC users, Firefox is used by both PC and Mac users, and although Safari, Netscape and Opera account for only 5% of the overall marketshare, they tend to be the browsers used on most Macs. Generally we recommend IE.7 for PC users and either Safari or Firefox for Mac users.
